The musical foundation of the INO Ensemble is various forms of rebana (frame drum) music of Betawi cultures such as Rebana Biang, Hadroh, Kecimpring, and Marawis. However, the various instruments used in INO Ensemble come from different regions of Indonesia such as North Sumatra, West Sumatra, Bali, West Java, and Jakarta.

Each of the musicians in INO Ensemble players is masters of many instruments. Thus, their music is complex and a unique reflection of the diversity of Indonesian cultures. The combination of traditional and modern music performed by INO Ensemble creates beautiful and magnificent new music colors. INO Ensemble has won various prestigious competitions in the world such as SHARQ TARONALARI in Samarkand organized by UNESCO & Uzbekistan.
